The company CHRYSAFI was founded in Lemnos 28 years ago. This is a family business that passionately continues the rich gastronomic tradition of the island.
With the emblem of the sea lily, a characteristic and rare element of the flora of Lemnos, the CHRYSAFI family revives traditional recipes using the unique raw materials of the land of Lemnos: the sheep and goat milk, the flour from the variety "mavragani", the locals .
In all stages of production the company CHRYSAFI implements a certified food safety management system EN ISO 22000: 2005.
At the same time, since 2009 he collaborates closely with the "DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE & NUTRITION" of the UNIVERSITY OF THE AEGEAN (www.fns.aegean.gr) in research and development. This collaboration is multidimensional and includes the implementation of approved research programs in order to create new innovative traditional products.
