The Lesvos Beekeeping Cooperative was founded in 1982 and since then has a constant presence and activity as it has won the trust of the consumer public. It is based in Alyfanta, Mytilene, and consists of 110 small and medium beekeepers from all over the island of Lesvos, while it standardizes and distributes exclusively honey and bee products of the partners.
Since our accession to the LEADER plus program (1998) and then we present continuous growth and in financial terms we are one of the few healthy cooperatives as a result of good organization and management of the company.
Our goal is to immediately reach a safe and high quality product to the consumer while leaving a fair profit to the beekeeper.
