The Olive Mill - Vrana Museum is located in Lesvos, in the settlement of Papados, in the bay of Gera, about 20 km from the city of Mytilene. It belongs to the Cultural Urban non-profit "Archipelagos Company", which, under the chairmanship of the late Director Nikos Koundouros, created and manages it during the twenty years 1997-2017. It is one of the oldest olive mills of Lesvos, which belonged to the family of Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseas Elytis. After the Restoration-Rehabilitation works, in the summer of 2009, when it was inaugurated, it functions as a Museum, and is open every day of the week except Monday. The visits of organized groups are planned after consultation with the responsible Mrs. Eleni Karagianni at 2251082007.
